Cost: $175 per player (game jersey provided)
Start date: Week of January 8th. 9-week season.
Practice schedule: One practice per week on either Tuesday or Thursday evenings from 5:15pm - 6:30pm.
Game schedule: Saturday's - 8 games that include playoffs @ Horizon High School
Ages / Teams:
K-2nd Grade | 3rd – 4th Grade
5th – 6th Grade | 7th – 8th Grade
Horizon West Wolves flag football may be a different experience from other flag football leagues. The Wolves flag rules closely mirror the rules of tackle football. For example, 3rd-4th division and up punt on 4th down, rush the quarterback and allow the quarterback to scramble/run as long as there is a rusher over the offensive line of scrimmage. The Horizon West Youth Sports & Cheer is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization. We are always looking for parents, grandparents and community members to volunteer their time or talent. There are many ways that a volunteer can help the organization to include coaching, team Mom/Dad, committees, fundraising, donations, sponsorships, advertising, concessions, strengthening & conditioning, field management and our board of directors. Joining alongside other parents and community members has created many deep friendships and made the games as fun for the adults as it is for the kids!
